Our walk then continues along both high streets and back streets exploring many corners in Hanoi’s Old Quarter that you never see when by walking yourself, and enjoying the elegance of Hanoi, through tranquil French Quarter.

Highly recommend this tour in Hanoi, Our tour guide picked us up at our hotel and brought us around Hanoi old quarter. We had a blast! Enjoyed bun cha, rice paper pancakes, pho, egg-coffee and a few beers. Jack was very happy to answer our questions, explain Vietnamese culture and make sure we left completely satisfied. Would highly recommend this tour to any foodie looking for an authentic experience.
My husband, 6 year old daughter and I booked a private tour with our own guide, which was simply fantastic. Our guide ( Mr. David Hung ) took us to try a mixture of local specialties that he loved and things that we wanted to try ( 7 eateries in total!) over a 3 hour period (16:00 – 19:00). Our guide was really enthusiastic about and proud of Vietnamese food and it was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the food and cultures in Vietnam. We went to a lot of very small family run restaurants and vendors, some of which we wouldn’t have dared attempt without local knowledge, and the food was amazing in every one of them. My 6 year old daughter absolutely loved it too! Thanks HTS Tour.
We were able to book the food on foot tour on short notice with no hassle which was nice.
Our guide Linh was lovely, knowledgeable and fun. The tour had a good mix of street food and restaurants. The food was delicious and they were able to accommodate our dietary restrictions. Loved the country pancake, sugar cane juice and egg coffee.
The tour is reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend HTS Tour
Hung ( tour guide ) he pick us up from our hotel and took us to eat really amazing, delicious food all round the city. There was some taxi-ing involved but a lot of walking. In Hanoi Old Quarter, Hung knew all the best places and was able to answer all of our questions and took us to eat some really delicious food. Not the standard Vietnamese cuisine I was used to – I have some new favorite foods now. Everything were nice. He also was so helpful in the fact that we told him our itinerary and he emailed us his recommendations for various places.
I highly recommend this, was one of the highlights of the trip, would definitely call on Hung again to take me to more amazing street food places if I return to Hanoi!!
My friends and I, (4 people), took a street food tour with HTS and enjoyed the experience. The handsome Mr David guided us and took us to places we would never have known existed. It was a soft walking experience, made even better by our guide’s sense of humour. Copious amounts of tasty food were consumed and we dodged the rain on several occasions. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get an insider’s view of Vietnamese kitchens and cuisine.
My husband and I went on the food walking tour with HTS tour and had a wonderful time. Our guided tour took us down alleys and small streets, and to the market in Hanoi. We tried a variety of different foods, all delicious. A great morning on an equally great tour.
