About Da Lat City
Da Lat City is in the central highlands, and its elevation and cooler weather is often used by locals as a respite place to enjoy far from the heat of Ho Chi Minh City. It was originally built by the French in Colonial days for the same reasons, and when they withdrew they left beautiful French Villas and other fine architectural buildings. Due to its climatic conditions it has become famous for the flowers and vegetables grown there, and this is popular tourist destination, with many activities and places to see in town and the close surrounds.
