Overview
HTS Tour’s Ho Chi Minh – Cat Tien National Park 2days 1night journey allows travelers to trek and explore one of the largest areas of lowland tropical rainforests left in Vietnam. It is a National Park area, and will be preserved intact for future generations to visit and admire. Explore and discover the bio-diversity and fauna by trekking in this wonderful park, far from the busy streets elsewhere. Enjoy a night-safari then bed down for the night, then trek some more in the morning, looking for some animals and ancient trees. You will return return to HCM City and your chosen hotel on the afternoon of the second day.

Day 1 : Ho Chi Minh – Nam Cat Tien National Park
HCM City – Cat Tien After leaving the busy city of Saigon, turning off the National Highway 20 leads visitors to a mountainous area full of roadside platations of rubber and green coffee. A short , smooth 150 km ride takes visitors to a former volcanic crater , known as Lava tubes. Crossing the Dong Nai river to enter the Cat Tien National Park enables visitors to begin their wildlife experience. This afternoon, we do three hours of trekking through the Reserved Core Area. We will see many varieties of century old trees. Then return to the center for dinner. Program Highlight: Two-hours of spotlighting on a night safari into the jungle, in a jeep, this allows visitors to enjoy the feelings of watching wild animals drinking and hearing the calls of rhinocerous. What to look for: Deer, wild pigs, rabbits, porcupines, and many more wild animals.
Day 2 : Cat Tien – Ho Chi Minh
Cat Tien – Ho Chi Minh Visitors wake up to the lovely warbles of native birds. Breakfast prepares you for another four-hour trek to see the Crocodile swamp and back to the headquater for lunch, then be transferred by your road vehicle back to HCM City.
The private tour took us past great scenery and many rubber plantations on good road into the mountains. We saw the “Lava Tubes” and crossed the river into the National Park. We had a fantastic trek, on which we saw many different varieties of flora, and returned for dinner and then went on a brilliant night safari and saw many animals. After breakfast the next morning we trekked to a crocodile swamp, had lunch and then began our journey back to Ho Chi Minh City. It was an interesting tour and I would recommend it to others.
