Our main reason for booking this tour was that it was guided and we wanted the info on what the central region had to offer. We were not disappointed as the guides provided were full of information and facts. Our tour of Hue was very interesting and our Perfume River cruise sublime. Ancient Hoi An was as it reads, incredible, and the Champa ruins at My Son very worthwhile visiting. We liked the area so much we extended our stay here.
Jerry and I had a 4day private tour of Hue and Hoi An and enjoyed ourselves. Having arrived in Hue with no specific plans we elected to enjoy the services of a guided deluxe tour with HTS (deluxe = private car). We had the services of an English speaking guide that understood the history of the places we saw and it added to the tour immensely. Our road travel between places was interesting and the ancient part of Hoi An well preserved. We saw the ancient ruins at My Son and the people back then really knew what they were doing. We had a very good time.
We thou rally enjoyed our tour of central Vietnam and would recommend it to all. We explored Hue, Hoi An and the My Son Champa ruins, all dripping with history. The area has had so much influence on today’s Vietnam, so a visit here was essential for us.
