In places like this, careless tourism can bring human disturbances and endanger this heritage, while thoughtful Hanoi – Ba Be lake group tour with a controlled impact provides excellent support to conservation projects in the area and helps the economies of local people. The boat will come to Puong Cave where you can explore the stalactites and stalagmites which are a result of the erosion of the river on the karst as well as looking out for the bat colony several thousand strong. After your, exploration of the lake, you can rest on the drive back to Hanoi, taking in the beautiful scenery on the way. You will stop for lunch at a local restaurant on the way before arriving back in Hanoi at about 17:30.
Our reasons for this tour were 2fold. First we wanted to see Ba Be N/Park, and secondly we decided an eco-trip was the way to go. Our home-stays on this trip were very special moments and the hosts’ customs and culture were intriguing. The Ba-Be Lake and National Park are beautiful and the surrounding landscapes exceptional, it was a 3 day trip that we really enjoyed.
