Depart at 8:30am by bus, traveling about 50km from Hoi An to reach the My Son sanctuary. Here you find many Champa temples, in a valley approximately two kilometers wide, surrounded by mountain ranges. It was the site of religious ceremonies of the Kings of the Champa Dynasty, and was also a burial place of many Champa Royals and national heroes. The My Son temple complex is one of the foremost temple complexes of Hinduism in South East Asia and one of the foremost heritage sites in Vietnam.
Arrive in My-Son at 9:30am and walk with your guide for approximately 2 hours to see the historic and cultural ruins of the Champa Kingdom, as the guide talks about the glorious time of the Champa civilization. You then leave My Son, transferring to Cau Lau boat station. Here you board a motorized boat, and cruise to visit the Kim Bong carpentry village, 3km west of Hoi An. Enjoy a soft lunch and drink during your cruise, and the My Son Tour by Bus and Boat tour finishes at Hoi An dock around 2:30pm.
